Project Independence at Home is a program within PACE (Florida Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly.)  It is a special Medicaid program for people who are 65 or older, have Medicare Parts A and B, need the level of care provided in a nursing home—but prefer to continue living at home as they age.

This case management program serves seniors living in Miami-Dade and Broward County who are enrolled in Medicare and are eligible for Medicaid. Nurses and case managers assess each participant's unique needs and develop a plan of care to keep your loved one at home.
