Hubert L. Rosomoff, M.D. (1927-2008) was the Founder and Medical Director Emeritus of the Rosomoff Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center. Besides being recognized as the authoritative source on pain and its treatment, his long list of accomplishments includes pioneering research on hypothermia, cryosurgery, spine and brain surgery as well as rehabilitation. He was the innovator of several surgical techniques and procedures; in fact, he was the first to use lasers in brain surgery. Dr. Rosomoff was member of some 30 professional organizations and has authored over 200 papers and books on numerous medical and scientific topics.
