How you can help

Douglas Gardens North provides safe, secure, affordable housing for seniors on limited income. The 95-unit building is located on a 25.6-acre campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida and features spacious one-bedroom apartments and a full-service senior community. The facility accommodates a range of housing needs, from independent living to assisted living and even special care apartments for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory loss.

Douglas Gardens North is a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 202 facility specifically designated for low-income elderly. HUD eligibility guidelines require that at least one member of the family is 62 years or older; income limits are determined annually.
