Elsayed Abdel-Moty, Ph.D.

Elsayed Abdel-Moty, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of the Stein Gerontological Institute at Miami Jewish Health Systems. Dr. Abdel-Moty received his Doctorate in biomedical, ergonomics and systems engineering from the University of Miami in 1988. His education and training, combined with more than 30 years of experience working in healthcare, position him as an expert in applied clinical research, occupational health and safety, and rapid process improvement. He authored and co-authored more than 200 scientific papers, publications, and book chapters including “Ergonomics in Back Pain: A Guide to Prevention and Rehabilitation”.
